HAPPY ENDINGS

I thought I would take the opportunity to let you know how I have settled in. I really like living here, its a splendid place and the humans give me much love and fuss and even let me sleep on the bed, in fact, I have the choice of two! My confidence is growing and I now take much pleasure in sitting on the female human while she strokes me, I do become grouchy when she moves me off of her lap though. I could sit there for hours sometimes, and I have done.

The male human is a bit scared of me, I was sleeping in the bed one night and took a dislike to his foot, so I bit it. I take pleasure in hissing at him when he tries to move me off his side of the sofa, but its okay, once he has sat down I quite like sitting next to him. At night, I curl up in between them on their pillows, so the male human inevitibly wakes up with me staring down at him, hee hee.

I am slowly warming to the other two animals, there is a ginger small male feline and another thing a bit bigger than a cat but barks, I think the humans refer to her as a dog. Any how, I have been attempting to establish my place as top cat, at the great expense of the other two, they don't fight back but I like to hiss and growl at them as they walk past, sometimes I even wag my paw at them and they are too scared to go past me in the door ways. The female human tells me off for doing this so I have to move out of the way. At first I just stayed out of their way upstairs for about a week, but now I love to come down stairs when they get home and sit beside them on the sofa. I make my presence known to them, particularly when I am hungry by screeching, this always seems to have the desired result and I get food or cuddles.

Any how, I must go, I have much curling on the bed sleeping to do, Its a very busy schedule. I hope all is well and you like the pictures. Thank you very much for looking after me, I am ever so greatful.

Love Jessica

Hi just thought I would drop you a line to let you know Willow is doing well, has not had a fit for some time now, she is now on 1 1/2 tabs twice a day and seems to be doing the job. Will include a few pics of her for you. Since having Willow we have lost 2 cats, Tigger had to be put down not long after Willow joined us he too had just develoed epilepsy but had bad muscle wastage on his hind legs and was having surgery on them when the vet rang and told us the prognosis, so we decided it was kinder for him as he had become very withdrawn.
A couple of months ago our younger cat Squeak was knocked over and died in my arms, we rushed him to the vets but confirmed he had died of internal injuries, we were heartbroken and the rest of the cats were quiet but seem a little brighter now.

Willow is very funny and the last few months has become very kitten like playing with anything she finds on the floor, even chasing the other cats. When we first got her she would not be held but now she loves cuddles, just a few nights ago she was laid on the chair next to myself and my son and we were rubbing her neck under her chin, oh my it was so funny her back leg started flicking like a dogs does when you rub its tummy, then her toe would twitch before the whole leg joined in.........she is very settled and so amusing and sleeps in some very strange positions..... Thank you for letting us home her.

Sorry for the long delay in writing, we would just like to update you on how Kya the staffie is doing. We have had he for nearly 5 months now and she is doing really well, we all love her dearly, she is really settled and loves our springer spaniel Dylan very much and they play all the time. She also enjoys watching all of our small animals especially the rabbits! She loves nothing better than stretching out as much as she can on mums bed and having lots of cuddles! She is loving her long countryside walks and had a lot of fun on the beach and in the woods all in one day! She has grown all of her fur back and has put on some weight and muscle, we have enclosed some pictures so you can see.

Kya is so well behaved, she often shows Dylan up! thank you very much for allowing us to adopt Kya even though we live so far away, we couldn't have asked for a dog that gets on with our other dog better, we hop to bring her up time in the new year when the weather is better and when Kya is fully settled as we don't want her to think that we are taking her back!!!

Thank you soo much Emma, Jade, Max, Damien, Dylan and Kya (the Nicholas family) xxxx
