When an elderly Whippet arrived at athe sanctuary the staff knew she would be difficult to rehouse.  Amy had come from a well loved home and was used to being spoilt.  Sadly her elderly owner was no longer able to care for her and when she came in to the kennels she was very scared and lonely.

Luckily for Amy she was spotted by Amandas mum.  Amanda works at the sanctuary part time and was walking Amy around for her bedtime walk whilst her mum was waiting to pick her up.  Even though the family already had two dogs they kindly offered Amy a home.

Two weeks on and Amy has settled in very well.  She has been back for a visit and looks extremely happy.
