Christmas Fayre - Held in November 2009

A huge 'thank you' to everyone who helped us raise £1,700 for the animals. The weather was grim but there were lots of smiling faces in and out all day. We had some scrummy cakes, good raffle prizes and a huge assortment of Christmas gifts for pets and people, as well as a variety of decorations and cards.   Funds raised will ensure our pets are kept warm this winter.

Plymouth Lions Club - October 2009  

Thank you to the Plymouth Lions Club who donated £100 in October.  Pictured is Carole Bowles MBE, Founder of Woodside Animal Welfare Trust, being presented with the cheque along with Bruiser the dog who has since been rehoused by the Trust.

Book Fayre - Held in October 2009

All the staff at Woodside Animal Welfare Trust just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who either donated books or indeed bought them at the Book Fayre we held at the end of October 2009 at the Sanctuary.

You all helped to raise the wonderful sum of £728.00 and we are very grateful indeed as it was a truly magnificent amount and will help us continue to look after the animals here at Woodside.  Everyone who came to the event which was held over a few days really enjoyed themselves and when we have another one we will add the date to our events page so keep an eye out for it and put it in your diary!
