Beautiful Bella has captured the hearts of all our staff and volunteers, and we hope it won’t be long before she finds the special home she truly deserves.
Sadly Bella has untreatable tumours which mean we are unsure how long she will live. However, seeing this gorgeous girl still enjoying life and having fun, you would never guess!
Bella, a small labrador, has the sweetest, gentlest nature. She loves lots of cuddles and attention and, in her new home, would love to have someone around for most of the day.
Despite her diagnosis, 12-year-old Bella still loves going on walks and, when recently taken home by one of our dog walking volunteers, loved playing in the river.
Her carers say Bella is so well behaved. She gets on well with dogs at the sanctuary and could possibly live with one, so long as they weren’t too energetic. She has been around children aged 4+.
Bella cannot live with cats or small furries as she likes to chase them!
In her new home, Bella will need ongoing medical checks and will remain under the care of our vets. She will need to be brought back to the sanctuary or Woodlands Vets for any treatment, the cost of which would be covered by Woodside.
