Looking for a loyal companion who loves cuddles? Then let us introduce you to the lovely Tank, a super-friendly boy who could live with children.
Tank is a sweet natured Greyhound X Welsh Foxhound who was brought to the sanctuary due to the ill health of his owner.
This super-friendly boy loves being around people and is finding kennel life difficult. He’d much rather be snuggled up in a cosy home where he gets lots of cuddles and attention!
Due to his very high prey drive, 5-year-old Tank needs to be muzzled on walks, which is something he’s used to. He loves running in our enclosed fields at the sanctuary and is used to being around horses but his new owners would need to be very careful around deer, small animals and cats.
Tank’s new home will need a high, secure garden fence as he has been known to jump high fencing, typical of his breed!
Tank is unsure of some dogs, especially collies, and can be vocal towards them on walks. This is something we’re working on at the sanctuary, and with ongoing socialisation we’re hoping this will improve. Tank is crate trained.
