We are searching for a very special home for beautiful Boxer X Old Tyme Bulldog Boe, who has sadly been diagnosed with cancer.
When Boe, 7, arrived at the sanctuary we were concerned about lumps on his body. These have now been removed by our vet, and we were heartbroken to learn that some are cancerous.
Due to the position of one of the tumours, not all the mass could be removed and with the possibility of more cancerous lumps developing, Boe now needs palliative care.
Despite his diagnosis, Boe is the happiest, most loving dog who loves being around people and melts the hearts of everyone he meets.
Whilst he could remain here as one of our much-loved residents, we feel Boe has so much love to give, and we’d rather him find the loving, comfortable home he deserves.
Boe is a fun, playful dog who has bundles of energy. He enjoys racing around our fields and chasing his toys, which he’ll gently place in your lap.
Boe is on steroids and antihistamine treatment, which we will continue to cover the cost of, and he’ll continue to receive full veterinary support from our sanctuary vet. Boe will need to be brought back to the sanctuary for this.
