Jason is a 4-5 month old collie cross who recently arrived with three of his litter mates. Unfortunately Jason has not seen anything of the outside world before arriving with us so will need a experienced owner who has the time and patience to continue to socialise him. He has made huge progress since arriving and is a very quick and keen learner and just wants to please his handler. He is very food orientated and has already learned the commands sit, down and off.
Jason may need a slow introduction with some dogs but soon gains confidence and wants to say hello. Jason is not going to be suitable for someone looking to get their first dog and we are looking for a adult only home (children 16yrs +) with no cats. He is a very loving boy and has huge potential to be a fantastic dog but new owners need to be aware they are taking on a medium sized dog who has the mindset a small puppy. Whilst he is a very quick learner, in a home Jason will not have any idea of how he is expected to behave. He is not yet housetrained but will always go for a wee when he is taken for a walk.
We have been getting him used to travelling in car and he now happily sits on the back, clipped into a seat belt lead. He has been doing short journeys each day which is being built upon.
