Harry is a 4-5 month old collie cross who recently arrived with three of his litter mates. Unfortunately Harry has not seen anything of the outside world before arriving with us so will need a experienced owner who has the time and patience to continue to socialise him. He has made huge progress since arriving and is a very quick and keen learner and just wants to please his handler. He is very food orientated and has already learned the commands sit, down and off. He is not yet housetrained but always goes for a wee when he is walked.
Harry may need a slow introduction with some dogs but soon gains confidence. He is not going to be suitable for someone looking to get their first dog and we are looking for a adult only home (children 16yrs +) with no cats. He is a very loving boy and has huge potential to be a fantastic dog but new owners need to be aware they are taking on a medium sized dog who has the mindset a small puppy. Whilst he is a very quick learner, in a home Harry will not have any idea of how he is expected to behave.
We have been getting him used to travelling in a car and he is happy sitting on the back seat with a seat belt harness and has been good on short journeys which we are building up daily.
