Rae is a 4-5 month old collie cross who recently arrived with three of her litter mates. Unfortunately Rae has not seen anything of the outside world before arriving with us so will need a experienced owner who has the time and patience to continue to socialise her. She has made huge progress since arriving and is a very quick and keen learner and just wants to please her handler. She is very food orientated and has already learned the commands sit, down.
Rae may need a slow introduction with other dogs but soon gains confidence and wants to play. She is not going to be suitable for someone looking to get their first dog and we are looking for a adult only home (children 16yrs +) with no cats. She is a very loving, sweet natured dog and has huge potential but new owners need to be aware they are taking on a medium sized dog who has the mindset a small puppy. Whilst she is a very quick learner, in a home she will not have any idea of how she is expected to behave. She is not fully housetrained but will go tot he toilet when on her walks. She has been getting used to travelling in the car and is now used to sitting on the back seat with a seat belt harness. Rae will need a secure garden.
