Maisie is a 14 year old, female, Jack Russell Terrier. She is a lovely girl who sadly came into our care due to her owner’s ill health. Despite her age, Maisie has lots of love to give and would love a home with a sofa to snuggle up on, she would prefer to get up on the sofa on her own and would rather not have someone try to pick her up to do this as it can frighten her when her paws are suddenly lifted from the ground. Unfortunately, Maisie has gone blind in recent years so will benefit from a home where there is little change so that she can become comfortable within her surroundings.
Whilst Maisie is ok with dogs out and about, we feel she’d prefer a home as the only pet where she can have all of the attention to herself during her retirement years. Maisie has not lived with children before but we believe she would benefit from a quiet home where any children were older. Maisie has previously lived in the Totnes area so could not be rehomed back to this area.
