Benji is a handsome 4yr old collie who is looking for a home where someone is around most of the time that he can enjoy adventures with, as he is a very lovable, loyal boy but also had some separation anxiety so this would need to be worked on.
He has previously lived with another dog but can be reactive towards some dogs, mostly little dogs. He is a typical collie and usually lays down and stares at them as they go past but if allowed, will bark and react if not prevented. We do work on socialising him with other dogs here at the sanctuary. He will need a very experienced owner who has had collies before as he can also shadow chase so new owners need to know exactly what collies need, in order to be fulfilled and not get bored.
Benji can not live with cats, he is terrified of them and actively tries to get away from them and hides behind whoever is near. He is so scared of them that it would not be fair to home him with cats.
He hasn’t been around kids before so would need an adult home.
