Reason for coming in: Ex-racing greyhound.
Having recently arrived at the sanctuary, ex-racing greyhound Hector is slowly learning to trust.
This shy boy is very sweet and has the softest face. Hector is finding life in his new surroundings a little overwhelming but with time and reassurance we’re sure Hector will continue to grow in confidence. Having recently retired from racing, Hector has never had the chance to experience a home before, therefore things such as sofas and vacuum cleaners will all be brand new to him. We are confident that, with a little bit of patience, Hector will have no issues adjusting to home life and will thrive.
Having come from an ex-racing background, Hector is only used to seeing other greyhounds, which he is good with. We are currently socialising him with other dogs here at the sanctuary, which is going well.
