Reason for coming in: Owner’s ill health
Davey is a handsome 6 year old Westie x Jack Russell. He is a lovely boy who is able to live with cats and children age 10+. Unfortunately, Davey was previously attacked by another dog, which has caused him to become a little unsure of some dogs. We have been working on socialising him here at the sanctuary where he is gaining confidence, however he may benefit from slow introductions when meeting new dogs out and about. Davey loves human company, and can become a little anxious when first left but will then settle. A home where there is initially somebody home for much of the day may be best suited to him, so that the time he is left can be gradually built up. Davey has previously lived in the Whitleigh and Hatt areas so cannot be rehomed back to these areas.
