Ash

For our gentle soul Ash life is just too scary. This beautiful boy spends much of his days hiding away in his bed or, when it’s quiet outside, will venture out into his pod.
Black cat Ash, 12, is used to life outdoors, having spent years as a stray being fed by a local resident. But in the autumn of last year, Ash found himself alone with no one to care for him.
His carers here believe that at some time in the past, Ash has lived as a domestic cat before finding himself on the streets. He will let his carers tickle his head and put treats down, and hasn’t shown any signs of aggression, but will run away when he feels too overwhelmed.
Possibly, with a patient, understanding owner in a quiet home, Ash could live indoors. However, this could prove too much for this sweet boy who might be more comfortable in a cosy shed in the garden where he is safe and cared for but has freedom to roam.
Could you offer Ash the special home he’s looking for?
