Reason for coming in: The previous owner felt that Buttons needs a more active home.
Buttons is a lively 3 1/2 year old Poodle x Yorkshire Terrier. She is a very sweet natured girl who came into our care as her previous owner felt that she would benefit from a more active home where she can be kept both physically and mentally stimulated. Whilst Buttons has not lived with children, her previous owner would regularly care for young grandchildren and Buttons was often very energetic around them. For this reason, we feel that Buttons would be best suited to a home where any children were aged 8+. Whilst she has not lived with them before, Buttons may also be able to live with other dogs and cats.
Buttons can be a little wary of some men initially, however she has started to bond quickly with the male staff here at the sanctuary. She would benefit from a home who understands that she may require a little patience to adjust to her new home and would be willing to continue her socialisation to help build her confidence in new environments.
