Let us introduce you to super-sweet Cookie. Cookie is a gentle giant who, at just a year old, is fun, playful and a pleasure to be around.
Cookie, a Cane Corso X Presa Canario, is everybody’s friend and loves people and dogs. She has also lived with cats, and would be suitable to live with children over 10 years old, due to her size and energetic nature.
Cookie arrived at the sanctuary through no fault of her own, after the arrival of a new baby meant her family did not have the time to give her the attention she deserves.
We are currently working on strengthening the muscles in her back legs to increase the distance she can comfortably walk, and adapting her diet as she has been only used to eating whole foods (vegetables and meat).
Cookie loves companionship so would like a home where there is someone around for much of the day, who has the time to continue her training and strength building.
