Honey is a beautiful, 1-year-old, St Bernard who is looking for a loving and understanding forever home. She has a wonderful personality and a lovely gentle side to her. She’s a friendly girl with lots of love to give and plenty of character!
Honey is still young and has lots to learn. She is currently working on her basic training with staff here at the Sanctuary, which she loves, and this training will need to be continued in her new home. Honey would benefit from consistency and boundaries in her new home to help her become the very best version of herself. She is very food motivated and eager to learn, so a home willing to invest time and patience into her development would be beneficial.
Ideally, we would love to find Honey a home with experience of large breeds, where her new family understands the needs, size and quirks that come with owning such a lovely breed. Typical of the breed, Honey does come with a little extra drool, and she can be a little vocal at times. This has already improved with training here at the Sanctuary and we hope that, with enough physical and mental stimulation in her new home, this will continue to improve.
Honey has so much potential and, with the right home, we know she will make a wonderful companion.
