Having missed out on a place with the police, young German Shepherd Koda is still searching for his forever home.
At 9-months-old, Koda is a big, boisterous, cheeky dog who’ll push the boundaries and needs a firm, experienced owner.
Koda acts like a young puppy but, because of his size, his behaviour can be overwhelming. He has mastered the art of switching off his hearing when he wants to!
Koda’s into everything and will benefit from a home where both his mind and body are kept active.
At the sanctuary he’s enjoying scent training, which is helping with his concentration.
Out and about Koda enjoys meeting people and dogs but is easily distracted and strong, and will need consistent training both and off lead.
Koda is friendly and clearly very handsome, which has encouraged plenty of people to come forward to say they’re interested in adopting him.
But his ‘spirited’ nature can be too much. Someone with experience of working with challenging dogs would suit Koda who, in the right home, has so much potential.
We are looking for an adult-only home for Koda.
