Amos is our Shetland pony resident who was brought to us via the RSPCA along with his friend Max who we unfortunately lost in 2025.
Amos is a cheeky chappie, he loves exercise time just as much as food time. Amos loves a good roll around on the grass sometimes with a bucket on his head if he’s lucky enough to pinch whispers left over food.
He also enjoys walks around the sanctuary to see the other animals with our staff members.
Unfortunately Amos suffers from a skin allergy called Sweet Itch and also Cushions which he has meds for and regular checks with the vet.
He shares two paddocks with our resident sheep Iggle and Piggle, they often enjoy a good play and run around.
Sometimes our oldest Dartmoor pony Whisper likes to come into his paddock to spend some time with him.
