Paul and Linda McTurkey are the resident two turkeys who arrived in November 2020. They came in after their owner feared that when rehoming someone might have them as a Christmas dinner rather than pets.
Once used to the environment they were introduced to our other livestock groups. They share a field with our five resident goats the hillbillies.
They normally have freedom of the field during the day, they can often be seen hanging around the fence edge being nosey seeing who they can spot. They are shut in at night for their safety.
They love their food, especially treats of grapes and lettuce. They are the best of buddies and are always with one another.
