Say hello to Shiraz, a super-friendly greyhound who adores people.
He is a laidback boy who likes to go out for a stroll and then put his paws up – ideally on a sofa! Like most greyhounds, Shiraz is very gentle and walks well on the lead. Having come from an ex-racing background, Shiraz has never had the opportunity to experience home life before, therefore general household items and noises will all be brand new to him. With a little patience, we are sure that he will have no issues adjusting to home life.
Having recently arrived at the sanctuary, we are all enjoying getting to know this beautiful boy and seeing his sweet nature shine through. As an ex-racer, Shiraz has only ever seen other greyhounds, which he is good with. We are currently socialising him with other dogs here at the sanctuary, which is going well.
